A few years ago it was the place to go for huge cakes, but not any more. Size and quality are not what they were. It's OK if you don't remember how good it used to be.

at the middle and end of a long bike ride to Shoreham, the staff were fantastic, such good fun and so happy to help - a pleasant bit of banter as well - thank you

It annoys me intensely the parking is not free here. Having said that the cafe is not to blame . They have done an excellent job to keep going now the park is so quiet. Happy staff, good basic menu and tasty food and drink. Prices fair. The lake is popular with hobby clubs and water sport experience plus swans. Won't go again because parking isn't free.
